Anyone suggest decent place to get new Key for ma mk4, 2 button flip type. VW asking over £150.

They go cheap on the bay, but they need coded by VW which they'll rape you for anyway.

but a lot of locksmiths can do recoding you just have to find a decent one - obv not timpson in the precinct LMAO...

Get a key off the bay with an uncut blade.

First off flip open your current key, get the Mhz and long number inside e.g. HLO *** *** *** (and a letter). You'll need to find a key with the same Mhz and numbers/letters for it to be compatible. Once you've done this get the key cut and register on UK-mkivs.net.... someone on there will have vag-com and is usually on hand to help out a fellow dubber by programming the key to the ECU for beer tokens.

I got a full vag com set up if you do that mate...
