PostSubject: Cleaning the car in the winter   Cleaning the car in the winter EmptyMon Nov 02 2009, 21:47

Well, it's definitely getting colder now, and it's dawning on me that the time has come that I will be freezing my balls off cleaning the car from now on .. and I absolutely hate it!

Not only is it bloody freezing, but it stays clean for about 2 days at most, sometimes less. I remember the Polo going for almost 2 months without a clean last year, it looked terrible Laughing

2days is good.

i did a full detail day before UD, what a waste of fecking time, by the time i got up to the show the car looked as if it had been parked in a salt mine.

will be keeping the pressure washer and foam lance ready this year. and then try to wash it every other day, possibly even everyday when they start salting heavily.

it does, i crash it into the gate - 3 times now one side- and twice rear Razz

other date mate was pissing around (as it has no petrol) it was gear - Hence the Front iron coming off early Sad

Some wanker though an egg on it the other night - so had to clean it thats most likely the only dirt its saw

and teh other quick wash, was when James kindly fixed the side for me so cleaned the dust off Smile
