| Traveling back last night between caernarfon and pwllheli and coming to the end of the section with roadworks on it, bastard in a 4x4 doesnt dip, dazzling me next thing theres a massive bang and the car shudders. first though oh shiznit ive hit someone, i get out and ive hit a road cone left in the middle of the road and its wedged well and truly under the car. i had hit it dead centre of the car, only damage the VW badge had fallen out even the numberplate survived.
But to show that not all people are bastards, while i was trying to get myself back together a local lad with a seat stopped to check if i was ok and he even found my grill badge and helped my remove the road cone.
If i had hit the brakes i would have ended up in one of the deep open trenches they have along that road. | |
