problem is k-jet engines are getting dated now, you'll struggle to find specialists. Dan mk1 offered to hook me up in the garage that he works at, based in penygroes.

old timer! im only 27 lol Rolling Eyes i got taught about kjet tho coz i own a mk1 gti

cam an ign timin are a piece of piss to check an adjust

i can check the spray pattern of injectors an weather they 'dribble' when engine's switched off but proper pressure testing of the system requires a special pressure tester an i only know of one place with one of those.

if the fuel pressure was low tho it probly wouldnt even run tbh, they run at 5 bar coz it takes that to open the injectors so if the pressure aint there it jus wont inject. any fueling problems are usually to do with other components like the warm up reg affecting the system pressure or faulty metering heads etc

have you got any runin problems?

Hehehe! Thanks Dan.

Well Im convinced its the ignition timing causing the car to take about 6-7 turns to fire to be honest. Something I will double check tomorrow. I lined up the TDC on the pulley and adjusted the dizzy (the 1st cylinder lead was located at about 1 o clock before I adjusted) - so I have now moved it over to about 11 o clock (In line with cylinder 1). I done the bulb test on the dizzy soon as the bulb went to dim then completely off I locked the dizzy up. When I had my MOT 2 weeks ago the CO reading was about 2.7% - so I assume this wants bringing down to about 1.5%???

Thanks for the advice!
