PostSubject: Rebuilding BBS RM, what sealant?   Fri May 04 2012, 20:57

Hiya can anyone tell me a decent sealant to use to seal my bbs RM's? read conflicting opinions on other forums about 100% silicone and non silicone sealant, will be rebuilding them next week so any ideas would be great. Thanks

well I'm re-building some 15" BBS RM's, got some new 2" lips so I'll have 4 15"x8", hope they'll fit ok on the front though cos its lowered about 80-90mm. also not that pleased with the finish on them, they were shot blasted so the face is all dimpled under the paint, do for now though!

Buy Sikaflex off ebay for about 6.00, it's worth it as even a small bead gives a perfect seal and lasts. It's the Sikaflex 221 that I use.
