I found out last night that undercar paint is not petrol proof as my tank has started sort of leaking, all the stonechip is dripping off and smells of petrol.

had plasterd the entire filler neck and underneath of the tank months ago as it was rusting and didnt have the cash to spend at the time, orderd a new one last night @ 80quid so not too bad. but will still be driving up this weekend just means more stops due to less fuel. and a jerry can in case i misjudge it.

Were do u have to go to get a new 1 from?

thankfully its coming to me from Exeter, but this weekend im going up to VAG 2009 in lancashire, 230 odd miles (almost 450 according to multimap)
