Just sold my GTi today after 3 years of ownership. I was quite gutted to see it being driven away lol. I'm confident it's gone to a good home though, and will be looked after. It went to the first person who came to see it so I'm very pleased with that, especially since I picked up my new car last week! Very Happy

Nahh, didn't sell locally. It's gone to a guy in Doncaster. I chose not to sell it locally cos I didn't want to see it around after it was gone, quite sad I know Laughing

I got a MK4 Golf R32 last weekend mate, couldn't be happier with it, really great car Very Happy

Yeah, one of the biggest decisions I had to make was going for the MK4 R32, or the MK5 Gti. Mk5 won in the end as I prefer the shape, an less fuel consuming and the tax is expected to go silly money. But its still one hell of a car, an every time I pass one it gets me thinking.

I did consider a MK5 R32, but I had it pointed out to me by more than one person in fact, that the MK5 GTi look better than the MK5 R32 and the MK4 R32 looks better than the MK4 GTi. And it's quite true really. Not that I dislike the MK5 R32, don't get me wrong, I just think there's something abit more special about the MK4.

Plus the fact that on average a MK5 R32 was selling for about £4k more than a MK4 R32 so I would have had to keep on saving for ages!

Exactly what I was thinking, not liking a certain fiew things about the mk5 r32, like grill, wheels etc good choice m8.

I have quite a few plans that won't start to take shape for another couple of month at least now that I'm quite skint after buying the car lol. I'm itching to get coilovers!

I got it in deep pearl blue, stunning colour. Car is in serious need of a detail though!
