| You do a first wash, then run your fingers over the paint if it feels rough then it will need claying.
then you give it a 2nd wash, then you dry, polish and wax.
mine needs doing this again, hot weather and bad tarmac means i have black spots all over my car.

| basicaly do your first wash, can leave the car thats personal preference really
get you clay, and you need claylube, your rub the clay on the bodywork (well lubricated) until the car is done
and then you wash again as the lube stays on the car

| forgot about the lube lol mine can be used with just water but I find it works better with megs gold class.
still i would NOT use blu-tac, ive seen what that does to wall paint never mind what it will do to car paint. the guy probably uses fairy liquid to wash his car.
Ive need to order some more as i have a Saab 9000 to do. I think it could take a while...

| I wouldnt waste the clay removing tar, use a good tar remover first then clay. otherwise the tar will contaminate the clay rather quickly and wont help your finish. | |
