| Theres possibly a few people on here that may help you, but obviously i cant speak for them, In all honestly do it yourself what ive done, and its a learning curve and is pretty simple, Basically, Run the wire from the Headunit (providing thats installed) to where the amp is positioned, -RUN THE RCA,REMOTE'S CABLE THE OPPOSITE SIDE TO THE BATTERY CABLE- Run these under the door sills, gives a profesional, neater look For battery Cable, once run down the car, put through the Firewall of the car, into the engine bay, make sure you have an inline fuse holder connected, **Don't Connect up yet** Get you earth wire, and find a position where you would like it on the bodywork IE-Wheel Arches, Under Bumpers etc When you have your spot then Drill a hole, matching the Wires hole in the clip that should of been Crimped on, then once drilled Sand this pannel down to bare metal - inside and out - (THIS IS IMPORTANT) Once this has been drilled connect up the earth, Power, RCA and Remote cables to the amp, then last mount the inline fuse close to the battery then plug the cable to the battery !! thats how i did it Thanks Luke | |

| Wherbouts are you ? I have installed my own sound system comprimising of 2 amps 3 subs pair of 6x3's pair 6x9's an some tweeters, been doing my own for years now. I could give you a hand if you want, or if you want to go the pro way, there used to be a good installer in Colwyn Bay, with his own shop. Been years since I've been there tho, someone should know if he's still up an running. | |

| I'd suggest that u get someone that knows how to do it to install it for you with you watching them and learning how to do it yourself. So next time you need anything insatlling you could do it yourself. It is'nt as hard as you would think, at the end of the day there's only a hand full of cables. I'm sure if u ask nicely then someone on here will give you a hand and teach you how to do it. | |

| I might just give it a go myself :> So what I worked out: Run all speaker cables from speaks to AMP then from AMP to head unit RCA cable down drivers side. Same goes for the sub really from sub down drivers side to head unit, all power cables down passenger side. Ok few other questions Head unit: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/kenwood-kdcbt6544u-p-7319.html AMP: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/jbl-gto1004-p-6240.html SUB: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/vibe-active-p-6695.html Kit: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/audio-4awg-p-7012.html Another RCA cable http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/audio-firefli-p-7026.html Good and compatible? Would you suggest getting some new components? Don't know what else I need someone said a power distribution block? Also what is all this 2 ohm 4 ohm jargon :> And after its all setup how do you set the "gains" and so on properly? Ta. | |

| For the amount of money you seem to be splashing... You could get a much better install and with a bit of DIY handy work, you can make it look ace. I helped Matty with his by showing him the way to go on the amp and sub side (my favorite part of any ICE install) and those two little gems seem to keep him pretty happy. There's quite a few steps involved in putting an install together.. When it comes to the boot install, there's the main question.. you want to open the boot and people to go wow? (boxes don't really achieve this) or do you want it to just sound good? Do you want to keep the boot usable... you can mix and match all these options too :p For me I always go for looks (a nice clean pro look is the way forward for me.. Matty managed to achieve this) and you don't want to be sacrificing the sound quality either. | |

| Im basically wanting, boot space, while sounding good, and looking good, therefore im removing my spare wheel and Im going to dynamat the spare wheel well, and the body floor pannel in the boot, Im going to make a box, for the sub and amp, after these make a first layer of MDF just to attach the boxes too, after this ill then make another layer of MDF and carpet this, this will be the main pannel that will look tidy My plans idea | |

| Hey dude if ur gettin an active sub box u dont need a amp like that, with comps u dont need power just quality.
An bye the way dude vibe are stupid money for the pooo quality u get, and also stay away from FLi they are the cheaper sister of vibe, that says it all.
and dude the main thing u wanna look out for is RMS watts, this is what the sub - amp ect work at, max power is just thought up by the company to look good.
i can find u some good gear for similar prices if u want???
bye the way LUKE MK3 i have 8 rools of dynamat if u want some hehe

| Nice sub with a good price on it
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/audio-12w0v2-p-7287.html
always liked alpine when powering a sub, good flex for sorting out DVC subs later on
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine-mrpm500-p-6399.html
These still surprise me, will take a hammering aswell
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/cerwin-vega-65cs-p-7244.html
get the best rca's possible, can wreck a system if u get cheap ones. try caraudiosecurity.com for better ones
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/connection-bt2-500-p-6141.html
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/dynamics-awk20-4awg-p-5576.html
u dont really need to amp ur componants, but if u want to u need to get a good quality am with only bout 60-70 rms so u get a nice clean signal, | |
