| i once drove a 205 1.4 from holyhead to rhyl with the red light on but saying that i also attempted the same in an AXGT (same engine) and ran out by tesco in bangor.
to be fair its not really worth the risk as it could run out somewhere inhospitable and you may end up getting raped sloppies. | |

| Warning lights are for pussies. get a mk3 polo and just guess how much is left.  After doing a tank change i found that hovering above the red line had over 3 gallons left.  on a bighter note. i got just under 100miles in my saxo with the red light on. | |
