| Im assuming its a mk1 VTR by your username. you planning to strip if it doesn't sell? could do with some parts if there interchangeable with a mk1 1.1 engine. | |

| for the amount of work required to rebuild the bottom end and the price of a complete engine it would be stupid to take the rebuild option | |

do you not mean :- remove engine split box and block split head and block remove pistons remove crank replace shells hone block - but im sure they run wet liners so maybe new liners new rings skim head as precaution vale stem seals lap the valves refit head possible crank re profile new oil pump as precaution head set cam belt clutch full oil seal set where as a simple engine change is:- remove engine split engine and box clutch refit box refit engine job done at half the cost as the engines are worth the same as the cars f-all. | |
