| Well,i'm looking into getting a MK2 GTi..but i'm not looking forward to the insurance quotes....so i thought what about classic Insurance?Would a MK2 GTi qualify for it?And do you have to meet a certain criteria (over 25,been driving for X amount of years etc) or not? | |

| of course they will want a deposit if your paying in instalments.
i have not told you this nor do i condone it but:-
miles under 4k = V low premiums = nor do i condone mileage fraud to keep the miles below 4k for the duration not using the car to commute to work (SDP not SDP+C)= low premiums no mods = low premiums adding an older more experienced female driver to the policy (especially if an admiral group insurer) = low premiums
classic car polices are usually for those who pull them out to drive once or twice a year and already have a daily policy so to speak - also if your using the car to go to work you WILL NOT BE COVERED if the commuting part of the policy is not included...
for the car you describe, nothing major in the way of mods i think your best tinkering with compare the meerkat or the like.
OWE..... do you have commuting on your R5s policy? | |
