Rat pack time

Well,ive decided i want to go for the rat look on the golf now. The rusty bonnet looks a little out of place on the golf.

Looking for some ideas that i can actually do without spending silly amounts of cash.... and i dont mean coilovers,some expensive rims etc etc,note this'll be a daily driver also.

I think buy a cheap suspension kit, some banded steels and leave it, cant make a Mk2 look Rat !!

Roof Rack - Be nice stick some shiznit on that

and make it look shiznit

Funk lowering strings, go at them with the blowtorch man, stop heating when the spring is wher u want it to be lol. (only kidding)
Just sand it down to primer or less, an let the weather do the rest. Get urself sum mk2 steelies, paint the middle black, the rim silver aswell as the cap, and pain ur own whitewall tyres. Cheap roofrack an a dent ere an ther !

In fact we could play treasure hunt with all the junk going in your roof rack (thats the idea for the next meet)

I believe the look you are trying for is a unique chemical compound known as iron oxide.

However, further to add to this abrasive appearance, I suggest you do not follow the crowd and add the "rat pack accessories" as some have suggested, but sit and think, and try and achieve a unique look to your tastes. The scene, euro, rat etc should not be about copying your neighbour and portraying the usual appearance as thy neighbour. You should be blooming of the uniquness of your own creative thinking. Why dont YOU try and make your own rat?? What have you to loose. Dont copy Joe Bloggs, be yourself, make your image yourself.

Trust me, you will appreciate it.
