| if yours is an 8v itl be a rod change an a vr box is cable change so youd need everthing that goes with the box, an the ratios probly wont be right for your engine making it slower with a higher top speed
generaly ppl find boxs with lower ratios that give you realy good pick up but you loose some top end speed, mk1/2 gti boxs are basicly the same an some one on here will know which box code is best suited to your engine.. | |

| diesel van boxes are usually good to go for as they have lots of lowdown torque, dunno fuk all bout vokswagen boxes tho lol. i just phoned up citroen an they told me wot boxes had wot ratios an final drives. | |

| Yea you'll need to change the flywheel, clutch, pedal box etc. Its not worth the hassle, unless your fitting a VR6 Engine at the same time | |
