i'm after the number plate moulding taking out of my front bumper and smoothing over! on the facelift b5's (b5.5) the moulding is part of the bumper and not just a strip that could be replaced!!

any of u guy's do this stuff for a living and fancy doing it for us?

the ssat's just had a diss-agreemnet with a bus and it has scraped my bumper and wing/bonnet so it'll be coming in for an insurance job somewhere, once their insurance company gives it the thumbs up. so was thinking of gettin the bumper smoothed before it gets re-sprayed

Is it the same thickness as a mk4 golf? i have an aftermarket us spec mk4 front bumper with no recess. you may be able to cut that out and get it plastic welded in place.
