ok since i have a working relationship with a plater - and i am going to be getting a few things done myself (mainly for resale) does anyone else have anything the would like plating.
its not as simple as giving them the part and expecting a mirror finish, if you want a mirror finish the component has to be highly polished under the plating.
if you would be interested give us a shout, send me a pic of what you need plating with rough dimensions and i`ll get a quote.
the part will under go a few processes in the platers, cleaning, coperphospahe coating then nickel plating. so its not as simple as hanging it in a bath and putting current up to it so dont expect freebies it will however be a competitive rate.
the first few parts i get back i`ll photo and post here for all to see.
