| After a month off the road, I finally fit a new starter, 15 mins later I've been pulled! Porkin Fookin Roundabout squatters on the A470, for my pressed plates, 60 quid fine I had my original plates in the boot with sticky pads on for a quick swap and he said he'd let me off if they were legal but apparently they weren't either because they didnt have a postcode marking in the middle of the bottom of the plate Expected I know but had an alright run with them, plus the new police beemers are quite nice inside. Wheres the cheapest place for legal plates? | |

| Should have just told the copper that the legal plates were made before the postcode rules came in !!
Its not as if everyone with the older style plates has to change them to stay legal - just applies to cars that were made after the rules came in. | |

| My plates don't have a postcode marking I'd never even heard of this, rofl... and god knows when I purchased them... they've got an even better marking on them though.. :p Got them made up on the internet.. nice and cheap.. and the german style plate holders weren't a bad price off of ebay | |
