| ive got a mk4 golf, ive recently got me a set of porsche twisters 18 x 8.5j, will 225/40s give them enough of a stretch to clear the adjuster ring on the coilover or do i need to go 205 or 215???  ive got around the 7mm mark between the coilover and the wheel at the mo and dont know how low i can go bein so close to the wheel!! plus ive already got a set of 225/40 tyres!!! opinions please!!! | |

| A lot of guys do run 225/40's or 215/35's. The choice is yours but you should be fine running either. | |

| I can't help you on size but I've just got some Goodyear Eagle F1's for the R, can't fault them at all. | |
