| Are you craving the white stuff?
Are you still sitting patiently waxing your board and sharpening your edges since last year like some sort of mentalist?
Well i know i am and i thought it might be a good idea if we could get a vagwales snowboard (/ski) trip together!
Really just trying to gage interested at the moment but basically the plans are;
A holiday for all skills levels, beginners, etc. Book for late march '10 where there is more chance of catching clear days Book a low cost holiday (a large group booking or last minute deal) to make it affordable for everyone
Please vote if your interested and put a post on your thoughts about the trip (so i know who is up for it).
cheers dudes,
Nath | |

It's about 1000miles and 20hours to the Andorran border; I've driven to toulouse before and got a tour bus into Andorra. Was a right laugh. | |

| I think to plan it this late in the year is too late If a roadtrip was to be organised to go snowboard (whcih i cant do) we should organise it throughout the year, to give people a chance to save up money and learn a little Id love to give it ago but moneys a issue | |

| A euro trip is definatley a good idea, personally i would prefer it around summer to Wothersee or something. Driving in the Alps or Pyrenees especially in the winter can be very dangerous.
If anyone is thinking for a trip next year we should start another post for that.
This trip is for people interested in going riding around March '10. I would be looking to get cheap flights (a hell of alot cheaper than driving lol, not that the Passsat would make it).
I would be looking at a budget as follows;
Hotel + flights (Half board) £200-£250 Lift passes £130 Spends £Whatever you take
Obviously there can be insurance and rental to take into account but i have some kit too if anyone gets stuck.
I am aiming this at all skiers / snowboarders regardless of competence. If you haven't done it before then it's the perfect time to start! We can do couple of day up @ Llandudno dry slope before hand.
Anyway a list of who might be interested for this trip so i can get an idea;

| Hmm im tempted ;P Could do with getting a new sport under me seems i cant play roller hockey/Ice hockey neither cna i white water kayak due to me shattering it when playing Roller Hockey SO Yeah, you may think "How can he board/ski when he cant play hockey or kayak" Well they actually gave me this sport and the option of basically if you carry on doing what you were doing, youll be damaged for life (IE Serious Leg Problems) and said Boarding/sking would be a good option to choose So what type of equipment would i need, will price things up, and what type of spends Ive never been so dont have a clue Obviously going to need Thermal stuff ETC, but boards ? Shoes (board ones) i have no clue on this Please shed some light Cheers Luke | |
