I never was a Ford fan before mate but the ST we have is nuts fairplay, made in Germany the ST aswell, ant go wrong

Aye, but they had to use the engine from a volvo, cracking engine as i had a 2004 S40 T5 (exact same engine! lol) Ford should have stuck with cosworth!

You sure? The standard St 0-60 time is 6.6 seconds, even the GTI Edition 30 and Pirelli edition that have 230bhp can only do it in 6.7 with a DSG gearbox, sure you werent racing a Zetec or was your MK5 chipped?

What's the car like other than performance after having it done? Some can improve consumption aswell?

the consumption thing is all about how you drive it. if you drive nicely you should get slightly better economy coz you dont need to put you foot down as far to get the same performance or maintain your speed.

but boot it an it will cost more to run, it'l be burnin more fuel to give you the extra power..

u got it wrong mate the 6.7sec is the normal gti DSG the Pirelli edition does it in 6.4sec with the DSG and 6.6 without the DSG

My old S40 T5 0-60 was 6.3 seconds

must be down to the gearing??

Aaah I see, think though the Focus has 220bhp and the Pirelli Golf can only gain 0.2 seconds with a seamless gearshift and an extra 10bhp
