i herd that, and thought it was a myth at first lol. loosing a sump on a catseye, jeezuz stickysticky ! cant get much lower than that.

when i get my coilovers ill lower the car so the sumps on the floor, nd ill put a pic up lol

My sump wont get to the floor as the subframe and exhaust are the lowest poinst of the car.

Ditto on the exhaust, I regularly bottom out the backbox and it at standard height with bigger wheels, it looks like a 4x4 at the moment, I'll have to raise the exhaust before I get Coilies

decied to get my car as low as possible and tht can be driveable with out modyfying the arches
got it about 2-3cm off the floor ish, scrapes everywer nd was lots of fun, s hers a pic befre ihad to raise it half an inch

well heres my sump, its been droped a bit more since...and i want to go lower! but to do so i need to notch the chassis to give my driveshafts room to move

Here are some fresh photos that i took the other day. A mate of mine was shocked to see that he could fit a packet of gum standing up under his car. So off i went to get a packet and took some photos for him and might aswell show you guys too!

im not saying that the one on the bottom isnt real, but he cant of done the drop that long for the metal to be in that good of condition.

Just the pure movement within the springs would cause that to ground out. or maybe he is on the cheating thing called Air.

wen i first lowered my mk2 i had the sump practicaly on the floor, cdnt move it lol so i took a pic then raised it lol
