haha yeah the yellow fogs from ebay. i think they look great!

Yeah 2.0 ABF bottom end, completely rebuilt with the KR head then. Nice amount of torque now!

I think the conversion was worth it. But to be honest, at the same time another friend did a straight abf conversion with the 2.0 head then. Then ran it on mo-tronic management and got 10bhp more. There are lots of rumours about putting the KR head on gives like 170 bhp. but rolling roaded as come out slightly more than a standard ABF 2.0. But the torque is great. 5th gear 20mph and it will pull instantly. so that's nice!

yeah i was lead to believe that the kr head on the bottom was better as you can fiddle with the WUR and shit... suppose it all depends on the quality of the engine in the first place.

i wouldn`t mind a ABF mk2 next just to sample one, whats the economy like?

When the car went to be rolling roaded, we had the standard box and a WUR modded one, and there was no difference! It actually was better torque with the standard 1 i think i remember..! Economy is pretty much the same for me as well! Prob worth it, such an easy swop, still looks original and now when i see my friend's corrado 1.8 16v boot it, you can see it just doesn't pull like my mk2 does now.
