new un-used vw campaign shell on ebay

title prety much gives it away really , theres a 1983 mk1 shell unregistered on ebay ,i been watchin it since bout last september it keeps ending for £400 od quid nd then gets re listed :S

its worth jack everyforum has had huge discussions on this - imo its a shell that has had its paperwork lost by the dvla..

cut the vin number off a old batterd one and weld it nicely in place of the other one lol .


dont dvla let you do "reshellin" anyway ?

it will have a vin number on it that will indicate and that vin would prob not have been registered in this country - more than likely that it was imported by someone in the forces and forgotten about.

i dont see why you would want to use it to reshell something if you were initially interested in the unregistered bit,...

if you were to register it as a **10*** plate you would get so much stick if you took it to shows as everyone would laugh and point knowing you are an ebay munter ha..

i am lead to believe that you can reshell with a previously non registered shell
