hi guys, finally settled with a car i want to stick with so thought i would log some sort of build thread on here
firstly i will say the car..
is abit rough round the edges 1.8 16v corrado
bought with ten months MOT and 3 months tax.
it needs a visit to the body shop but that will be when funds allow..
i picked it up today and as soon as i got it home i tinted the back lights as i couldnt resist...
i am picking up some new wheels in the morning so hopefully should be sitting right soon enough..

so plans for the future..
VR6 conversion..
(including disks to help fit the wheels)
bodywork..
and sort interior (its pretty rough atm..)

Welcome mate, nice rado, nice colour that aswell. Has to be done, lights look much better. I've got a rado project to do aswell, cant wait to get started, just need a garage to start it lol

unfortunatly they aint but shhh lol.. was going to use porker wheels but these came up and they are 5x100 so once iv got the vr6 running gear are a straight fit.. Very Happy

i know where you could take an engine and the owner would probably not notice. as it hasnt been driven all winter. Laughing

yer thats an early type g60 i need late type VR6 as they have a slighty wider track and different boonet to clear the engine.. so im told... Razz

yes on httuning... think it was due to it being a rotbox.... pretty sure shell is gone now too..

but he does have loads of bits stored away but i need none of them Sad
