Helppppppp!

Just got my car, and had an insurance qoute before i got it and the b*stards told me it would be £1200 and i rang them back yesterday to take the insurance out and they said i had to be 25 or over to take out insurance in someone elses name so i had a huge go at them saying why did they give me the qoute because i put all my details in properly and spoke to them on the phone.

And now im left with the option of this new thing of paying £1200 fully comp on my own but im not allowed out from 11-5 in the night but i can pay £45 every night im out after 11 or third party fire and theft on my own name for £2500.

Got to decide by tomorrow morning as my mam and dad are going away for the week tomorrow.

dont worry i went mad on them for their mistake and the fact they woke me up at 8:45 lol.

might be doing that carnt go out between 11-5 in the night but gettin insurance on my dads standard fiesta so im getting NCB but can go out in my dads car past 11

iv learnt today that insurance companies are the biggest tw*ts on earth lol

Mate, UK insurance companies are daylight robbery.. in Belgium they go off the usual, car age, power, price and your age and NCB... but as for mods etc.. if it doesn't affect your KW's (that's... BHP indirectly) then you don't HAVE to tell them. You can give them a receipt for it, like if it's a bodykit, that you want to add to the cars value for when it's stolen / crashed.. thus getting a bigger payout. Makes WAY more bloody sense.


As for yer Insurance.. you probably have, but did you try the comparison webby's?

Yeah they didnt give me 1 price on confused, go compare, admiral or elephant.

but i think what i done was better overall as i carnt have any passengers in the back because its so low, but if i want passengers now then i can just take my dads car, it doesnt bother me that much seen as its brand new lol

I guess it's still aight takin' yer dads car. People can't really see the car at night anyways.. so doesn't make much difference :p

But yeah.. try for that.
