Sold My T4..... Gutted...Got a new Boat... CHUFFED!!!

Some things happen for a reason....

Never wanted to sell my T4 but got a silly £3000 offer that i couldn't refuse, considering i spent around £2000 building it.....

SO I SOLD IT, and then on the same day WASTED a shed load on a new Ski boat!!!!

Can't have too many toys!!!! These pics were us testing the boat last weekend!! Bloody cold!

Need a new standard T4 to work on now!!!!

As a footnote, for anyone with the time and ability, t4's are money for old rope!!!

I converted this to this and made a grand along the way!!!!

oooh mono aswell ! one thing i never bothered with was skiing...just could never muster it to push past the water as u start...if u know what i mean lol!

can do kneelboard well tho...turn the trim down and i can jump the wake and that lol! even backwards!!


used to drive it alot, and drive jetskis, dad had a seadoo gtx and that was awesome...had a solas and impeller and intake grate...think it had better sponsons on it aswell!! could 360 it on its nose!!

what engines on ur new boat then?

New boats only a 75hp, but enough for my needs as a family picnic machine and a ski toy!

I usually ski behind a 1960's Albatross that a a mate has!

It has a 2.1 Burton Pinto in, 130bhp at the prop!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!

the plancraft had a force 90hp on it, and that was more than enough!!

argh man...im getting all remeniscent lol!

We tend to make a day of it, a bit of Ski, a bit of BBQ and a LOT of beer!!!!!

i live in menai bridge! so defoooo

yeh thats what we used to do...drop in at high tide in the morn...then low tide in the early afternoon have a bit of food..then ski till full tide again...

those where perfect days, but u can only ski when the tide allows, sometimes we were only in for a couple of hours or so!
is the slipway in rhosneigor tidal then?

My mate who lives in Beaumaris has just aquired an Albatross His has the standard side valve Ford 1100cc. Nice boat all the same. Exceptionaly well built

yeh deffo mate, that would be mint...fanny board haha!! ill give skiing a go tho! u will have to teach me!!

I have a friend in Rhosneigr (Who actually hails from Whitchurch) who owns a 1/4 of the working albatrosses left in the country!!! Whathe don't own or have aint worth knowing about!

He has a load and a load more in storage!!

god i miss the water, was born and raised in bermuda, but bouts out there are a different legue as its the main passtime, anything under 250hp was considered small power

but ye used to wakeboard and ski, great fun that was, never tried a kneel board tho

before i moved over here and got into cars i was saving for my own powerboat


but ye that looks an awsome boat!
