Polo passed its MOT Very Happy

He did the emissions 4 times with 2 machines as he thought there was something wrong with his equipment.

Carbon Monoxide showing as 0.00% and the hydrocarbons at 34ppm out of an available 3000 odd ppm.
hahaha. Who said modern cars give out less emissions the tester was seriously impressed.
And my yellow headlamps are fully legal. lol.

Only a few small advisories, brake balance in the front is a bit off (but i plan to upgrade the calipers etc to G40 ones anyway and), rear bearings had some play but tester said it wasnt that bad.

Otherwise he said it was mint and wished more people had engine bays that clean.

I was expecting a list of problems as it was just shoved into the MOT station without even a service and shocked when he said it had passed with only the most minor of problems.

But i will be sorting out those problems inside the next few weeks, just need to work out if there are any problems with fitting the G40 parts.

should be easy to do the brake conversion, and if you use the carriers on the calipers you have now with the WII calipers they will have more clearence with the wheels than the WII carriers.

then just pads and disks and your away!
