| I need a place in swansea area that can MOT my car without taking it onto a ramp. By way of a pit etc. Also it would massivly help if they were able to do a road brake test as i very much doubt it will be able to go into the brake tester without getting stuck. Thanks for the help, steve. Cheeky photo just for reference. | |

| You bought that loved it since i first saw it, belonged to a guy off HTTuning? Almost everywhere has post ramps now only place i can think that has flat ramps is kwikfit carmarthen but i dont think they would do a road test but they do have panels that cover the brake testing unit. | |

| I am the guy off HTT I sold the car, then a few months later bought it back as i missed it too much haha! Luckly enough when i sold it i told the guy i wanted it back if he ever came to sell it. I know the old land of beer quite well, where abouts is the garage? I have heared of one by J47 (M4) Penllergaer that has a pit but was looking at other places too. | |

but i find that with the flat ramps lowered cars have issues with the jack they use on them, dont seem to like to go past the sump | |

| Place I use has that issue, jack it up with a widow maker then a high lift then slide the jack under. | |

| or they could jack the car up with a low access jack and put the car on wheel castors and push the car on.. gives an extra 2 inches of clearance, is what i did with my polo as was down 120mm... no problems.. | |

| hmmmm, slight issue with the widow maker guys, i cant fit one under my car haha. Luckily enough the merc design has got a hole in the sill that has a specific jack to go in. Ill just have to go to a few MOT stations and see. Its what i have done with my previous cars. But they were all within the MOT time. This doesnt have an MOT on it at the moment. Ill keep you all updated anyway guys Steve | |
