any VAG re-mappers near Anglesey??

as the title folks??

a mate if mine on anglesey wants his 1.8t re-mapping somewhere local to him. i've not got a clue of anywhere down anglesey way so can anyone help him out?? obviously he wants somewhere with a good rep but also someone whos not going to pull his pants on price either!!

theres a guy in blaenau ffestiniog that can remap cars, but not sure if he dynos them though, but he can chip a car nd get a good few horses out for cheap

there's a guy in star in gaerwen who specialises in vw, bmw's re-mapping etc. he's a superchip installer also. "golf" on ere works for him. Cant remember the name, performance sumthing i think.

the place in Gearwen is called Prestige Car Care an is on star crossroads by star carpets.

he's on 01248 715 888 an he's called Stuart, sound bloke & very good place, i used to work for him for a couple of years an he is a proper Superchips agent.

Ive heard that Stuart is a good man when it comes to performance cars and tuning! But i think (correct me if im wrong) that he has to charge the full superchips price tag as he quoted me a while back to do my 1.8t and was around £400 quid ish.

But ur best off giving him a ring mate!

also, ive heard that booker at angelesy auto tint does ecu chips, but not sure if he still does or what sort of prices he charges?? he's in pentraeth industrial estate i think?

If ur mate is willing to travel, i would personally recomend R-tech http://www.r-techpower.co.uk/ , as they did my 1.8t up to 222bhp, rolling road session included all for £250 inc vat! if i ever do it again with another vag, id deffo be going back to them!

ye £400 sounds bout right for superchips an ye stu doesnt get to do it any cheaper than sc advertise it.

when it comes to performance cars stu's is the place round here, i miss the work there a LOT lol, some of the cars i worked on there....

£250 an rollin roaded sounds like a good deal to me, probly wont get a decent remap for less than that anywer else

them r-tech guys do home visits i think?!?! some random guy stopped me couple of months back in the middle of traffic in shotton, and was pitchin to chip my ssat but as i'm already runnin on chips i wasn't all that interested at the time, but he did say around £225 but i dunno if that included the r.road?

Think Auto Tint has stopped doing the re-maps.
