Hi guys! Im in the final steps of moving into my flat and just fancy something a little cheaper to run/insure/tax ect than my A3 turbo... so im not 100% i wana sell or swap, but so far ive been offered a scooby... (no way!), a few other very high milage bmw 325i (no thankyou!) and so on.

and then got offered a straight swap for this little ibiza 1.2... but with the full cupra kit on it, so it looks the part, but are the 1.2's too underpowered?? i wouldnt mind if im getting 50mpg...

Anyone with any experiences with them???

i recon the audi is a much nicer drive and that the interiors milles better, cant beat leather Razz

agreed, i think u wud be downgrading tbh! if it was a swap plus cash then maybe, just as he has stuck a kit on it dnt mean its worth that lol! maybe if it was a cupra or something!

yeah thats what i was thinking of, its just a basic 1.2 12v at the end of the day!

my ideal compremise would be a golf tdi 150 or similar, but any tdi is so expensive!

ye i tried looking for a gt 150 but their 2 fuking expensive even for one artround 140 k on the clok lol

oh speaking bout underbowered, i had a fiat punto 1.2 same power, and well, ther is no power ha ha and to drive how u want to drive its going into the toyora prius and bmw m3 senario, lol ull be driving the seat hard, whilst if u had the audi ul be driving it as if your walking a dog

undepowered things tend to use more fuel lol

Oh, shit. well I was a bit retarded in scanning this thread first time around, I only glanced at the pics and voted. But now that I've read it, it's a 1.2 12v? That's the 3 cylinder right? hmm... I'd keep the Audi mate, don't come down to my levels of power, it makes you a very sad man Sad

... however clean you keep it. There's just no go in them lol.

And as for the Golf, I'm with you there. That's what I'm thinking of getting next year, a GT TDi if all goes well... Cool

True, i know what would happen if i did go for the ibiza, id end up selling her in about 3months because i miss the power! lol but i want something cheaper to run... i think ill stick with the audi untill a better offer comes along i think Smile

go for something diesel, as tdi, a4 tdi, passat bora, then just get it mapped like a bich Razz

benefits of power, mpg and more torque than fat people at macy ds

aye ive seen a nice bora tdi130 6speed, but cash is really really tight at the mo with buying this bloody flat! daz3883 knows all about it! lol

mate of mines just mapped his bora 110 to 168 Razz

it shifts haha
