Rallye/LANCI dELTA :/

just been wachin wheeler dealers and the ressemblance in the enine and performance is scary lol

its baseically a golf g60 but with 5 doors

both can be 8v ones turbod others supercharged
boths 4 spot grill
both got flared arches
boths 4x4
from the side they are very similar
both are ex rally cars
both are sexy and nice cars,
and both only came in left hand drive unless u got a conversion lol


my opinion is their both awome cars, 8v or even the 16v versions

does anyone else or is it just me that hinks theyre quite similR cars :/

The Delta's look like MK2 GTi's from the front from a distance!

Rallye's were actually crap in rallies, the Delta one it year after year

ye i knowq the rallye ws crap, but the never had the 16v g60 in it, tht was much better nd quiker

but if i wanted a quik rallly car audi e2 all the way

I had a red delta turbo couple of years ago, not the monster type tho. went like stink but a proper rust bucket, sold it to a guy from penrhyn
for grasstracking.

looked into a delta a few years ago, but man they are exp. for a good one
and they have to be serviced around every 6k

but one thing i did find out was the standard box and clutch where
good for 500bhp with out touching them

all but 5 of them were 5 doors as well not sure on numbers in the uk but very much doupt u will see a few in the same place

Im going to look at a lancia delta on sunday, depending what the guy wants for it as it needs a lot of resto work as its been parked up for a while on the way to my Gf's (at least 4 years), until this winter its had a cover on it but the wind blew it off just hoping that when i get a closer look its not just a rebadged Saab-Lancia 600, im hoping it has the HF integrale "Evo1" engine in it...


but its the engine and wheels i want anyway.

what wheels on it ? same as in the pic ? have a look at the rear axle while your there, bet its corroded beyond repair
