any one do llandegla i do it atleast once a week

bought myself a 99 kona stab a few weeks ago, been on a couple of trial runs on it, but need bigger tyres!!

i need new tyres going for maxis highrollers only they dont grip much in mega wet mud

I've just gone for a set of Maxxis Advantage, more of a freeride tyre, wanted the grip of Highrollers but with less rolling resistance. So far they've been awesome everywhere, can't fault 'em.

sweet ill check them out just cleaned and serviced mine was well needed just been to tweeks cycles to find 2 of the lads bikes from yesterday getting repaired lol and my gt has no problems what so ever and i get ripped for having a gt lol

i used to use gazzalody 2.7s, bit heavy but made up for it in the soft stuff i used to ride in

miss my mountain bike, used to prety much live up abergele castle when i lived up north, and liked playing on rhyl skatepark lol

and round here there is the red and blacks of the gorlech trail, abergorlech, brechfa mountain, great times up there!

il be riding again some day when my legs are strong enough

Coed Y Brenin is a great place to ride although there are much better trails closer to home. I do quite a lot of riding, if you fancy going for a blast some time feel free to give me a shout

i sacrifised my mountain bike so i could use its suspension to fix the go kart lmaoo

liking the full suser malam i need to go that way i think not sure what to go for have a go of a trek remady the other day and it was awsome !!!!

Defo going next week sometime after work, Never been Llandegla but heard loads of good things so I'll have to get there soon !

British dowhill series is in Moelfre near Oswestry next weekend - would have loved to gone and watched but I'm working sat and up Snowdon Sunday

really want to get back into the mountain bike scene used to ride everyday but totaly duno what to buy now,lookin for a cheap bike but i want quality if anybody can point me in the right direction i wud be grateful

I've been inspired by this thread to actually get off my arse and get on the bike !

Need to get some fitness back so I strapped 14kg to the back (My Daughter + Seat) and get on the roads. Do a bit every evening now and I'll be ready to take on the trails in no time !!!!

Here's the trusty steed -



Its a Haro X2, not a big name in Mtb but it had cracking reviews when I bought it back in 2005 and I had a decent deal at the time. Changed a few bits - Hayes HFX9 Carbons, V8's, X-lite saddle, Ti skewers etc.

Would love a new bike but the golfs swallowing the little spare cash I have at the moment

its epic its like the equilivant of a roof rack on a mk1 lol

Nice, loving the bikes guys. That carbon Rush is pretty special. It's good to see that theres a strong mtb following on here.

hehe bike whoring time This is my steed, it's an Iron Horse 6 Point. Descends like a dream but is an absolute nightmare on the ups. Also have a Marin hardtail but it's in desperate need of some parts to get her going.

the Marin... although its lookin a little more sorry for itself sat in bits right now
