New here - Any one from around the Cardiff/Newport Area?

Hi all

Name Ashley I'm new here normally over on Audi-Sport or Edition 38 but found this site yesterday and thought it be pretty cool speaking to other vagheads from around Wales...Drive an Audi A3 8P 3door and had her just over two years now but also considering getting a MK2 Golf Gti as i just love them.
Just wanted to say hi, introduce myself and see if there any one local?

Welcome. Im in the south but over the western end but we are getting more southern members appearing now.

a3s and mk2s are the way to go mate

Haha have to agree with you there A3's & Mk2's are the way to go! Just trying to find a MK2 that doesnt need too much work done (welding etc).
I've seen a lovely Mk2 with R32 engine but the asking price think i'll give it a miss lol. If it was less than £6k i'd maybe consider it

aii, i pikd up my mk2 for 400 nd engine nd whole body is mint, just need polishing :p cant wait to get some cashflow so i can put new engine in for some serious power


um atm all ive done to the a3 is lights, lambo gallardo alloys and bit of engine tidying :/

i gt 40mm springs to go on nd ni painted the bonnet matt black cus stonechips gt all tthe laquer off lmao :/


not going to mod it 2 much, just for now im going to lower it, tint it, clean it and exhaust, amybe get it remapped after christmas time :/ need money haha

im selling a mk2 1.3 4spd with coilies and other bits...400quid dim rust either!

Well i need to see how many southerners we actually have in our membership and see what i can come up with on the meet front.

SHOW OFF!! lol picked up a bargain! I need a MK1 or MK2 i nmy life lol...Some nice mods planned Aww dont get me started i need more money i cant decide between new alloys(tyres/adaptors to), new interior or new brake set up I want all well at least the new alloys and brake set up.
