Read if u got young kids

Febrile convulsions affect 1 in 10 kids age 1-6, when they get hot (over 38) they can go unconscious and go limp and then start to fit and sometimes turn blue, this happened to my baby boy who is 19 months on thurs and was the scariest day of my life, if this does happen and fit lasts more than 5 mins ring 999, they say it can last 1-5 mins but my baby was unconscious for 30 mins so u can imagine how I was, if your baby does fit the best thing to do is hold them during down during fit (gently) so they font hurt themselves, then put them in recovery position on there side arms legs bent, just wanted to educate people as I was like a headless chicken thanks for reading!!!! Also always inform your doctor even if u think they ok, tbh if anyone like me just ring 999 anyway!!
