Any mobile Phone geeks on here? Help required

My daily driver is a Shogun sport. It has a Nokia hands free kit pictures below. I'm told no new Nokia hand sets will fit this system. Does anyone know what Nokia model fits this system? I belive there is an adaptor to plug in so as to use a newer phone? So what would i need? I'm a bit clueless when it comes to mobiles
I'm also led to believe that the holder can be dispensed with if reqired then the plug bit show in photo can be pluged direct into a handset?

Just get rid of the holder and have a connection there for your current one. If you're phone is relatively new and has bluetooth you'd be far better charging your phone out of the way somewhere and if you really wanted to cht and to do it legally invest in a parrott kit.

Yeah Craigs got best option, ive got a parrott sat here waiting to be fitted

Not that any of it makes any sense to me :hehe: My present mobile is about 6 years old the most basic Nokia 1600! works perfect battery lasts a week. Cracked casing but does the job for me.
I never really use the phone in the car it's just that i had that cradle thingy looking at me in the face everytime i got in my car.
Anyhow Ive bought a refurbed nokia 6030 off ebay to stick in that cradle. I will let you all know how i get on!
