| soo, driving along happily yesterday when suddenly lost power, pulled over and found this lovely sensor dangling round my EGR pipe:  anyone know what it is? Now have no power (possibly limp mode) and throwing no errors :S have blocked the va pipes | |

| woo, fixed it (it's the n239 valve, dropped onto the egr pipe and melted and died)  bodged it with a resistor and some pipes \o/ | |

| can I ask how you bodged it with a resistor?
...so i can do it to mine to see if thats whats causing it to go into limp mode lol | |

| yeah, placed a 32k ohm resistor between the wires for the sensor so ecu thinks it's still there, had to replace some of the vac pipes too as they had melted | |
