Subject: recovering a formatted RAID NAS disk Tue Nov 01 2011, 21:17
some dipstick (ahem!) did a factory reset on the company's Netgear NAS server/hard drive and lost ALL the data. recovered most of it from other sources but could do with recovering the rest. willing to pay ££ if there's any experts out there???

Theres a tool we use in work, we have a license from, the MOD use it to get encrypted data off drives, those NAS boxes are a joke, we have 3 of them in work... ill find out what its called Monday and post it, will see if i can get a copy, pretty sure it has a trial version

Thats really kind - thanks. Have found a $40 program and used 2xsata to usb cables and managed to get a good bit of info off. Its taken days of analysing. If you do know what its called - that would be great. Thanks.

Get Data Back...
Can get it for free, and analyse whats on the disk...
From there, im pretty sure it allows you to get data off, but limited to certain amounts of usage. If you get stuck, give me a shout, and ill swing you over a key for it
