PostSubject: Polishing wheels?   Polishing wheels? EmptyTue Jan 13 2009, 18:06

hi everyone,

i've just bought some new cheap rims i thought i'd clean up, apparently 3 are ready for polishing, the other needs to be prep'd, anyone tell me what i'd need to get a nice shiny finish?

i'll have to post pics up next week (hopefully)

thanks

Ben

wet and dry, metal polish and elbow grease should do the trick. It depends how much there is and what state there in. I need to get a mop for my drill to do my BBS as the stanless steel is hard work and all pitted from the salt (did'nt get them off in time)

great stuff! Smile

the laquer on three has been taken off, the forth i'll do myself, so i'll wash them down first then work on getting them polished.

can't wait! they're nothing special just a set of corrado estorils, thought they'd be different to what everyone else does.

but thanks for the tips guys
