MPG, whos got the most american figures

ok here we go, we`ve seen it on other sites now ours.

as ive used the VR for work this week here is my fuel shocker!!, i filled up the tank in ellesmere port a about a month ago and came home about 38 miles, put the car away and drove the dirty diesel.

i broke out the VR and went to work 5 times about 10 miles a day.

NOW IVE ONLY GOT JUST OVER A 1/4 OF A TANK, think i better get up earlier so i dont have to tank it soo much..


as for mpg on a run i`ll get about 29, i reckon im doing about 15mpg using it for cold runs and town driving

25-ish around town and racing to work.

35-40 on a motorway jaunt

35-44mpg cruising to work at 80mph (on a private road officer)

Average of 11.4mpg last nite at the winter challenge road rally

18 around town and 29 M'way

bout 30 round town, 40+ on a run on the motorway

i want another 8v.. finished the tank now 211 miles/11 gallons.

Full Tank gets me 220miles of enthusiastic driving. lol

28 in town 36 ish on motor ways

thought you would get more form a lupo.

my skyline only ever see's v-power, at current fuel prices it'll take 45- 50 quid to fill the tank. got 155 miles out of my last tank, most ive had is about 185 miles. slighty thirsty bugger!! compare that to my old mk2 8v gti, could get about 340miles with steady drivin. cant wait to put the mk1 on the road and start savin some fuel tokens!!

Keith: 42L according to the haynes, but that cant be right as 30L is a full tank

taking the haynes one i get 23.8 MPG

but using the amount i can actually put in my tank its 33.3

that rally last night was quality!

my mate who drew the short straw and was driving us three there decided to have ago - very talented driver - we were in the low, grey cavalier..

lol, it lies! i can get 110 - 120 miles from 20 quid.

I'm getting over 200 miles to £20 in my Mk1 to work and back. Gonna beat that this week though - Driving on 145/80 ditch finders with extra tyre pressure makes things a little interesting !!

whilst stuck in a jam got mine down to 6,3mpg i got a pic on my mob il try and upload lol i didnt move for ages

think my figures may be drastically changed after today, new wheel bearing as the other one was absolutely fwcked, when i looked at it im surprised it hadnt seized, you couldn't turn it by hand.
