mk4 golf gti turbo coilovers

jst bought a gti turbo which is at the mo in my garage stripped whilst i wait for my bits to come!! i am now after a set of coilovers to go as low as i can but without spending stupid money.. its gonna b running on 18's with 225/40 tyres and want it as low as possible.. any suggestions????

With coilovers you get what you pay for really. It's worth saving up for good ones imo, as cheap ones tend to cease up after a while and the ride is normally very hard. I can highly recommend KW after having them on my Polo, I will definitely be getting them again for the R.
