| So, the new Golf R is now available for order. Having just configured mine to my personal spec it came to over £35k!!!  Now I fully agree that it's a truly fantastic piece of kit squeezing 270 bhp from a 2 litre lump but have VW missed a trick here? You could get a brand new rocco R for that with a holiday on top or even a year old S4 or M3! I personally just think that 35k for a golf is ridiculous. Any other thoughts? | |
