Car tax is beyond a joke! £200 for 12 months and the roads are a state where's my money going??? I am going to have to put 6 months on it and take the car off the road in the winter for the wheels to be refurbed and prepare it for MOT.

Further on from this I have decided to take the car off the road for two months to save money and do a few bits on it because driving it to work everyday for the last few months has not been nice to it. I need to have a see why it is shaking under braking and replace the side-skirt as it's hanging on for dear life and get it serviced. I am toying with the idea of selling the car but I did that with MK2 and hated not having a dub so I need to seriously think.

It quite clearly wasnt, whole throttle setup is different carbs are differemt so couldnt of used golf one on polo, hust a shite car cant wait for it to go now

but coz of weather and time iv not been able to chck the full extent of the damage, but, with tax and mot ending this month it just too much money to throw at it and still possable be left with no engine, so decided it best to take her off the road and get a new car

besides, already got a buyer who is willing to change the engine and still help me finish my plans on it for him to rep my work

Same need to do a full detail on the GF's 9n sure the last owner cleaned it with a brillo pad and kitchen cleaner.

Plus the engine seems to have had some mice nesting in it under the plastic cover.
