mine car covered is if its a properly organised track day with marshals in attendance and only if its considered a non competitive event (i.e no 1st, 2nd, 3rd - just timed laps - the only competition is your old lap times) and another clause is only a safe amount of vehicles are on the track.
any third party damage is not covered and all claims are via my comprehensive policy even if caused by a 3rd party - hence insurance not being required for entry
obviously excess is higher on track, £450 i read somewhere.
however, i doubt the raf valley track day is properly organised and my insurance will be invalid - but hey ho.
