test drive

took out my polo for a spin da uva day 1.4cl
very disapointing slow as futz
im now thinkin of selling it but duno what i would replace with without gettin stung by insurance im only 18 any ideas peeps????
help me

ill be honist you only have 60 bhp what would you exspect you are better keeping it another year m8 give it a good service !!!!! serusly the lot that will get it a bit quicker

Theres not much you could get if your looking for speed and cheap insurance, i'd keep the polo for a year or so, build up a years no claims like.

dont do what iam doing because iam stupid lol !!!

saxo/106 1.4, 1.4 16v corsa and mk4 1.25 zetec fiesta will all make a 1.4 polo look slower than an asthmatic granny pushing a pram. but you can't expect miracles from an engine design that dates back to the 70's.

wanna go faster? lose weight i.e. stereo, sound deadening, seats, carpet, dash, spare wheel, empty the washer bottle and only put £5 of fuel in at a time

but you could whoop all them cars on looks if you did the right things to your polo [ e.g slammed, wide wheels ]

keep the polo

you could get a polo mk3 gt and do a few mods to push 90-100 brake

400 quid worth of parts on a gt engine should give you close to 90-100 brake

and its a really sweet car
