its a shame tht they never made a 3dr one or a mental one, like 1.8t as stabndard so tht it wd give the mk5 gti a run 4 its money


als one of my m8ts has a citi 1994, u might of seen it in the last meet, bit of a mess then, but its getting better

Pretty sure they did a 1.8T version towards the end ?

edit : Nope I was wrong - it was rumors before the new R-line came out. VW jibbed

no big loss really - apart for mk1 owners who want rear panels that is, now to keep the south africa theme

I got a 1994 one, and the only difernce from te four door is that its got creases on the back quater pannals .

probably built in the same moulds as the origionals. even uses the "EA827" engine so its the same casting as the origional gti.

if i took the CITI badges off mine no one would be able to tell :S

and on the plus side theres no rust whatsoever on it (apart from stone chips on bonet e.t.c)
