Radio / Ignition.

Yes, my car isn't cool enough to have the radio 'on off' with the ignition luxury! ... I've tried connecting it with an inline 10amp fused wire to the red wire from the ignition? (Think it's the red one) and it looses preset station memory and CD track memory after switching off the engine. So I've done it, (whereby it switches on and off with the ignition) but not quite...

Thats not a luxury its a pain as you then have to switch back on if your sitting in the car.

You need to connect the memory cable (check unit instructions) to a constant 12v

Oh man the unit's like 7 years old.. but getting a new one. So the it'll mention it in those instructions I assume?

It is a pain, it's actually put me off from listening to it. Used to have it on constantly. Thanks!

"Accessory switched connection of the ignition switch"... In a Polo 6n / Seat Ibiza 6k, what colour is this wire from the ignition switch? If I split from there it should be ok right?
