Anyone know how to bypass the ignition swith on a 90-91 polo?
thinking of putting a push button in....faulty ignition switch!

easy mate, just take the cowling off and find the wires that connect the starter, i did it on my fiesta, trouble was i still ahd to turn the key cuz it had immobiliser lol
u could always throw a flick switch in there for ignition, then the push starter, can give u a hand if u want?

Its just two wires mate, had to bridge them on the Mk2 cos the switch was gone, I have a switch here somewhere if you need one?
