Sprayed the VW badges black today and took the GTI one off the front and it looks gooood.

All pre carb wiring is a fitted, fuel pressure gauges in and working. Coil tested (dizzy attached to drill )

just waiting on the carbs now from the engineers so that should be ready on tuesday.

Main bases for hidden boot install is nearly done, just need to finish making the top piece, vinyl it and put it in, then make a box :?
Still need to finish 1 front housing so i can get a idea and make it properly

cant wait to get the next project home and start work on it

need to find someone to move it first though

Nearly finished welding the smoothed engine bay in the Mk1, rub it down next then start filling and priming. Might might might be done for all types (Fingers Crossed).

Feeling the love for the Passat again lately ! Some gimp in a new Focus was right up my arse thru Llanerchymedd and actually flashed me to hurry up as I was dawdeling a little. Naturaly I dropped to 20mph to piss him off some more, then just as we got over the crest of the hill and his indicator came on I floored it and left him lol ! Pissed all over him through the twisty's too.

Not bad for an 11 yr old 150K miles estate with an engine in the boot !!!

Once the Mk1's done I'm going to treat it to a make over I think !!!

cymro - i staked the a3 into a 12ft ditch on trws straight thanks toapostman lol but i =drove it out and it was fine no damage just few nasy scratches from the bloody fence nd busheslol
