Merc came up with the idea of camo hoodies, bit like the background there available in various camo versions (karin: including pink urban ) then use the logo at the top on the back the user name on the front.

would rather have things embroidered so they last better than printed.

I was going to get a handful done.. because that link only shows where we can order them from.. it's a London based company... :\

So I wanted to order one or two (yeah, probs admins) and then I can see what the quality of them is like (they're pretty cheap.. 6 odd quid!)

If they're alright, I'd have to track down a decent place that can embroider a dumbed down version of the site logo and get a total cost worked out... THEN, we could go ahead and take orders for them.

I didn't want all the jumpers ordered and they'd be bad quality and people wanting refunds.. or people being stuck with simple camo jumpers because the embroidery was too costly.

So yesh.. that's the plan... it's just due to the shipping costs, I didn't want to order myself one on it's own.. I thought minimum 3 would make the shipping worth it


As for pink.. they've got pink camo in t-shirt format only

Was thinking of using the VW logo with VAG going round the top and WALES round the bottom of it... incase anyone forgot or didn't notice.. we designed the club name to have the same initials as Volkswagen

But then I thought it would look weird.. seen from afar, I'd be wearing a VW sign and getting into me Audi.. *sigh*

What I do know, is that I would possibly like the car manufacturer logo's on there somewhere, smallish...

As for embroidery i may have someone who can do it for us.

Set-up and digitizing is £25, ones thats done hoodies come in at about £20 each and he does a pile of other things too.

had him look at doing the Vagwales logo above, that would be embroidered on the front left chest, then user name can be printed on the back.

I was thinking other way around.. having the name on the front and Vag on the back... it would help to be able to see someones name when you're talking to them :p

Okay, just told Matt that I have a new idea...

I was thinking that apart from the names and club logo.. I personally wanted to have the 4 VAG car logo's too.. but without the added $$$$

So I was searching for sew/iron on patches...

Then this made me think.. why not, instead of searching proper embroiders.. search for custom iron ons.. (or sew ons... probably stay on better)... so the combo of Hoodie/club logo would be a must.. but then we could have a custom set of badges too...

I found some military style ones that I think will look nice on the hoodie.. 'cause duh! it's camo, lol.. they've got the iron cross etc...
