Try snaking them. In other words going in at an angle so one of the wheels touches the bump first, and then going down at an opposite angle. The people behind tend to get annoyed

will try this i try to avoid pot holes on the road aswell by swerving on the other side of the road (when i know theres no one coming of course) which gives me some dodgy looks

well i've cracked my splitter last week trying to get ova a speed bump!! and hit my manifold the same time!!

Think mine's the highest.

fer play is the manifold ok ?

This is how low my passat was running on the 18s - had to be carefull on small roads because the camber would make the subframe rub. Also some roads would make it hit the cats eyes when overtaking - ouch !!

Was one of the reasons for the 19's - didnt have to raise the suspension to make it a little more practical. Still rubs - A Lot !!

I was going over a road they were re-laying yesterday and was goin about 15 mph over a drain cover and next thing i know a big bump, pulled over and there was no damage to the front of it but im guessing it came from underneath but carnt get under there to have a look to see if everythings ok

General rule of thumb.. exhaust sounds okay and there's no trail of oil.. You're OKAY!

But erm.. yeah, there's more to it under there, so it's probably worth a check :p
